In March of 2004, the then named Erik flew back to Finland with his mother Lyyli. Despite his tender age he survived the flight well and of course had on board refreshments and the love of his mother. Like all this litter he has matured slowly but surely and has grown into a very handsome dog and is a real credit to the breed. He is big love of Mari and has proven to been very obedient and extremely fast to learn and eager to please. His love of water is amazing regardless of how cold it is, he enters the water without hesitation and retrieves beautifully but of course Finland is the land of a thousand lakes. But after a busy day hunting what does every Finnish dog like to do?....... well of course take Sauna to warm up. Simo and Tomppa regularly enjoy a sauna together and how Simo can stand the heat on the top seat I don't know but he does and surprisingly the cats also join in on the bottom..... Finnish life....... It can't be beaten!

But on top of Simo's pastimes he is also shown and has to his credit Reserve Best in Show, Baltic Junior Winner 04 title and Latvian Junior Champion 04 along with Res CACIB's. I'm sure that in the next twelve months as he matures futher he will come into his own. Good luck Simo and thank you Mari and Tomppa for giving this little chap a wonderful life.
