Were she human i'm sure she would be into all things crazy like base jumping, hand gliding, land speed records etc etc. Her personality is larger than life and she is a constant amusement to live with. Miska is true to type and demonstrates the true effortless, untiring extended fast trot, well muscled, powerful, good head and expression, excellent rib cage and angulation. Besides her conformation she demonstrates a keen desire to work and is a delight to watch hunt. I feel so lucky to own such a dog and it is with much thanks to Miska's co-owner and breeder Teija Kuusisto that I have this diamond. I can never thank Teija enough for allowing Miska to leave Finland but I hope that over the years we will be able to help each other with new blood lines and continue to strengthen the breed. Miska returned to Finland to be shown where she excelled and also to produce a beautiful litter to Russian Import Alone di Gloria from Magnificos Kingdom, a very handsome chestnut and produced 7 strong, well boned puppies who i'm sure will follow in her footsteps. Miska will remain in partnership and will be returning to Scandinavia to be shown alongside her relatives in the future with the Pets Passport opening up Europe. You could say that she is the Judith Chalmers of the dog world having travelled from Finland to England and back again, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, and Austria, in this time she has gained 2 BIS puppy, 1 BIS Youth Dog at Kortrikj Euro Dog Show and topped by BIS and Kouvola National Dog show. It is just unfortunate that due to UK breeding and lack of understanding of the breed she has done little here. It would seem that judges see her powerful, muscular appearance and prefer the smaller, finer and more refined dogs. Something which will eventually lead to the Bracco becoming what so many show gundogs become..... not of standard type.
